FL100 is a compact woven, metallized polyester netting for the large-scale shielding of high-frequency radiation (HF) and low-frequency electric fields (LF). Our highest shielding professional product for walls, ceilings and floors. This is typically used for ministries of defence, banking houses, laboratories, etc.

*Note: To purchase a custom length of fabric, place an order for multiple quantities of the 1ft option. The amount ordered will be cut as a single piece unless specified otherwise.

Order quantity:  This product is cut off according to your specifications, a return or revocation are not possible.
Screening attenuation: All stated attenuation values apply at 1 Ghz. Measurement to ASTM D4935-10 or IEEE Std 299-2006 or IEEEE Std 1128-1998 or ASTM A698/A698M-07. You find the test report above under "Report screening attenuation".
Grounding: Electrically conductive. Can be contacted and grounded to shield electric fields (LF). Please find corresponding components under "Grounding". A recommendation here is difficult because this depends on the application. Please ask us!
Application: Floor, Wall interior, Ceiling
Field type: HF (High frequency electromagnetic fields), LF (Low frequency alternating electrical fields)

Processing

In case of processing FL100 as an intermediate layer we recommend using our conductive dispersion glue DKL90 for adhesion. The wall and the backside of FL100 should be coated with a paint roller. Insert the material wet on wet. Fix it manually (with disposable gloves) and press a gummed roller against the fleece to get a crease-free surface. Work quickly and strip by strip only so that the DKL90 glue does not dry. A crease-free adhesion is only possible on perfectly level surfaces! Structured surfaces (ingrain wallpaper, textured plastering) have to be smoothed.  Further the material can be laid loosely, e.g. under floor coverings or can be stapled, e.g. in drywall constructions. Always overlap the single strips, so that they connect electrically for grounding.
