Grounding Procedure for Stainless Steel Gauze/Netting

The sheets of stainless steel gauze/netting must be installed with an overlap of 5cm to avoid gaps in the RF shielding. The overlapping parts must be fixed every 5cm, for example screws (we recommend using stainless steel screws) every 5cm. To ground the stainless steel gauze, you will need the GSS25 grounding tape.  You place the GSS25 over all the panels and also fix it every 5cm. Your electrician will then solder the grounding cable to the GSS25 (or fix it with a cable lug).

For a small width, a single sheet should be sufficient, so you could connect the grounding cable directly to the sheet with a cable lug or by soldering. Only when you apply several sheets, you need the GSS25 to connect them for grounding.
